Introduction
For the longest time we have been searching for a customized, sustainable and scalable solution to digitize PQI in Interior Health. BridgeQI started as an idea (NAVIG8™) to bridge the gap between paper and digital and we are honoured to partner with the BridgeQI team to bring this to life.
Features
The BridgeQI team incorporated the following features in the Beta Version of the BridgeQI platform that will be launched in November 2023:
Start A Project
- All PQI Faculty and MD Members can start a project in the BridgeQI Ecosystem. Once a project is registered, Physicians the project will appear on your My Projects directory and you can start working on your project using the digitals tools created.
Project Interface
- The project interface is packed with features to enhance the user experience when completing a PQI project.
- Here are some of the features:
- Miro Board Link: Add a Miro link to your project and allow all team members to access and contribute on your digital board.
- ARECCI Link: The BridgeQI team created an easy link to complete an ARECCI directly from the charter. Once completed, upload the PDF document to your project and it will be available to all members that have access to your project.
- Capture Data: The BridgeQI team integrated a digital run chart in each project interface that allows teams to plot their data.
- Project Documents: Store your project documents in a secure section within the project interface and allow all team members to view and explore the documents.
- Project Notes: Tired of loosing your notes during meetings? Use this section to capture and store your notes for future reference.
- Driver Diagram: Find an easy link to the IHI fillable PDF or create a driver diagram in Miro, take a screenshot and upload it to your project.
- Fishbone Diagram: Find an easy link to the IHI fillable PDF or create a driver diagram in Miro, take a screenshot and upload it to your project.
- Project Message Board: Want to gather some information from your team? Start a message thread and all team members can comment and contribute.
- PDSA Cycles: Use the formatted PDSA cycle worksheets embedded within your project and keep track of your progress.
Project Charter
- The project charter is the road map for your project and the the BridgeQI team created a fun way to complete each section in the charter, by linking it to an a Learning page, where the PQI faculty will embed documents and videos useful to optimize the task at hand.
- Each charter is digital and certain information within the charter is carried over to the digital Project Infogram, that is digitally shared with the network, based on the matrix developed by the PQI Faculty.
My Team
- Team work is the secret ingredient to all successful PQI projects. With the BridgeQI Software, Team Members can be added within the Project Interface.
- Dyad partners, data analysts, public/patient partners and physician team mates can now be added through a quick 3 step process, directly from the project interface.
- All team members can contribute to the charter in real time and decrease the administrative burden associated with completing a project charter.
Cohort Community
- Are you part of a Cohort? Now you can view the progress of your cohort’s projects and learn and collaborate.
My Profile
- As we are creating a collaborative and Quality Improvement network, update your profile and allow other BridgeQI members to view your profile
- Open to Collaborate? Are you open to collaborate and work on other projects, simply check to box in My Profile and other members will be able to connect and add you to their projects.
My Hours
- Keep track of your hours and log them within BridgeQI using the My Hours function within your account.
Idea Box
In the Beta Version, we created an Idea Box to allow users to provide feedback. Our aim is collect this information and make changes as directed by our users to develop the final project that we hope launch in 2025.
How do I submit an idea?
- The Light bulb Icon above will be available across the BridgeQI interface. Simply click the icon and submit your recommendation. As the interface contains hundreds of pages, the BridgeQI team ask that you enter the page name that is found in the top section of each page when submitting your recommendation or feedback.
User Guide
As BridgeQI is a physician initiated project, the BridgeQI team will create short posts that you can refer to if you are getting stuck. You can find this section by clicking on the Magnifying glass in the top bar of the website.
If you are unable to find the information you are looking for, send an email to [email protected] and the team will get back to within 7 working days.
